Born on 30 April 1984 in Ključ where he completed his primary and secondary education. He graduated from the Department of History, Faculty of Philosophy, University of Sarajevo in 2006 and defended his Master of Science thesis “Chivalry in Medieval Bosnia” in 2009. He obtained his doctorate from the University of Sarajevo in 2014 by defending his dissertation “The Bosnian Kingdom and the Ottoman Empire (1386-1463)”. From 2007 he is employed by the Faculty of Philosophy in Sarajevo where he teaches the following courses: Early Middle Ages, Late Middle Ages, Bosnia in the Early Middle Ages, Bosnia in the Late Middle Ages and Auxiliary Historical Sciences. The focus of his scientific interest is directed towards the study of early Bosnian-Ottoman relations, medieval chivarly and courtly culture, heraldry and the political, cultural and religious history of Europe and Bosnia in the fourteenth and fifteenth century.
