Amela Dautbegović, Doctor of Psychological Science, was born on March 16, 1983 in Trebinje. She finished elementary school in Konjic and high school (Druga gimnazija gymnasium) in Sarajevo. She enrolled psychology studies at the Faculty of Philosophy in Sarajevo in 2002. She graduated with the highest grade in November 2006. Since September 2007 she has worked at the Department of Psychology. Between September 2007 and December 2010 she worked as assistant and performed practical classes on following courses: Mental Health, Educational Psychology: Learning and Teaching and Educational Psychology: Motivation and Social Processes. During academic year 2008/2009 she performed practical classes on the Child and Adolescence Psychology course. In August 2010 she finished her postgraduate studies and received her master’s degree by defending the thesis Determinants of Young Adolescents’ School Adjustment. Amela Dautbegović, Doctor of Psychological Science, was born on March 16, 1983 in Trebinje. She finished elementary school in Konjic and high school (Druga gimnazija gymnasium) in Sarajevo. She enrolled psychology studies at the Faculty of Philosophy in Sarajevo in 2002. She graduated with the highest grade in November 2006. Since September 2007 she has worked at the Department of Psychology. Between September 2007 and December 2010 she worked as assistant and performed practical classes on following courses: Mental Health, Educational Psychology: Learning and Teaching and Educational Psychology: Motivation and Social Processes. During academic year 2008/2009 she performed practical classes on the Child and Adolescence Psychology course. In August 2010 she finished her postgraduate studies and received her master’s degree by defending the thesis Determinants of Young Adolescents’ School Adjustment. Since December 2010 she has been working as senior assistant at Department of Psychology and performs following courses: Educational Psychology: Learning and Teaching, Educational Psychology: Motivation and Social Processes, Health Psychology and Mental Health. She has participated in numerous congresses, conferences and seminars, as well as in the project implementations.
By 2016 she published 14 scientific papers in journals and conference proceedings, 13 summaries in books/conference abstracts and was one of co-authors of the book ¨Psychology of Nonkilling in Bosnia–Herzegovina¨ (Center for Global Nonkilling & University of Sarajevo) and manual “Support to the Students with Special Needsin Higher Education – Manual for Academic and Non-academic Staff” (World University Service of Bosnia and Herzegovina – SUSBiH). As regards research papers and press articles, she published two research papers under the Child Neurologists Society in BiH and the Creative Communications Agency “Softcom”, as well as around 30 publications within Infobiro project “Digital Protection and Archiving of Cultural and Historical Treasure of Bosnia and Herzegovina”.
Amela Dautbegović started Ph.D. studies in psychology at the Department of Psychology, Faculty of Philosophy, University of Sarajevo in academic year 2013/2014. She successfully implemented the assignment and passed all exams with average grade 10.00. She received her Ph.D. in Psychological Science by defending her doctoral thesis entitled Psychosocial Factors as Determinants of Students’ Adjustment in June, 2016.
