Description
The Faculty of Economics in Zenica was established in 2005 following a decision by the Government of Zenica-Doboj Canton, which also formed a commission responsible for key preparatory tasks such as adopting the curriculum, setting study rules, selecting teaching staff, and proposing student enrollment numbers. The Faculty officially became part of the University of Zenica on September 12, 2005. The first generation enrolled in the 2005/2006 academic year, with a total of 426 students. By October 2013, 549 students had graduated. Postgraduate master’s studies began in 2006/2007, with subsequent generations enrolled in the following years, and 12 candidates had earned a Master of Science degree by 2013.
