Biography
Prof. Dr. Daniela Koltovska Nechoska is a Professor at the Department of Traffic and Transport, Faculty of Technical Sciences, University “St. Kliment Ohridski” – Bitola, North Macedonia. She teaches undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses in traffic management and control, intelligent transport systems, modelling and simulation of road networks, and traffic operations analysis and design. Her research focuses on artificial intelligence and machine learning applications in road traffic management, intelligent transport systems and smart cities, with particular emphasis on traffic modelling, microscopic simulation and adaptive traffic control strategies. Her work also includes research related to autonomous and connected vehicles and sustainable urban mobility. She has participated in numerous national and international research projects funded through programs such as FP7, COST, Erasmus+ and CEEPUS, including COST Actions where she serves as a Management Committee member and researcher. She has also been a visiting professor at several European universities and serves as a reviewer and editorial board member of international scientific journals, as well as a program committee member of international conferences.
