Sonja Filiposka is born in 1980 in Skopje. She received her Bachelor in Electrical Engineering with honors at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Skopje in 2003. She continued with her Master and PhD degrees at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies and finished her studies with honors in 2007 and 2009, respectfully. Right after her graduation in 2003 she started working at the Institute of Computer Science on the Faculty of Electrical Engineering as a junior teaching and research assistant. After her Master studies she was promoted to senior assistant in 2007, and when she got her PhD as an assistant professor in 2009. Since 2019 she is a full professor at FCSE. She has published over 100 scientific papers in international journals and conference proceedings and is an author of a number of educational books. She participated and is an active member of a number of national and international science and applicative projects. Her research areas of interest include wireless mobile ad hoc networks, complex networks, computer networks, parallel computing, e-infrastructures, orchestration and automation. She is also a women in engineering advocate. https://repository.ukim.mk/browse?type=author&order=ASC&rpp=20&authority=rp01314 (2022) K Gilly, C Bernad, PJ Roig, S Alcaraz, S Filiposka.
