Biography
From 2011 until 2013 she was working as researcher, assistant professor and head of Department of Cultural studies at the Institute of Humanities and Social sciences / University Euro-Balkan.
From 2014 she is visiting professor at the Faculty of Art and Design / European University Skopje, and she teaches Art History, Design History and Contemporary Art.
She is initiator and editor of the comic book Personal Futurism / Public Politics, 2013. She was researcher and team coordinator for the Strategy for Culture of the City of Skopje with Action plan (2012-2015). She was part of many artistic, local and international projects, several solo and group exhibitions, theater projects as set and costume designer (2014-1998 in Skopje, Ljubljana, Postojna, Zagreb, Dunauvaros, Berlin, Prague, Prizren, San Francisco, Poznan, Angouleme …).
She is member of two international academic networks RCAC Zagreb and COST/ISTME, Europe. Ivanka was awarded with Ljupco Filipov Prize for international promotion of Macedonian contemporary comics in 2011. Currently she is head of Macedonian Center of International Theater Institute (2012/2016) and projects collaborator at the Macedonian Film Agency (2015 …).
