Biography
Biljana Stojkoska was born in 1982 in Ohrid where she finished high school. She obtained Diploma degree from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the University "Ss. Cyril & Methodius", Skopje, Macedonia in 2006. Her Diploma thesis was "Data aggregation in Wireless Sensor Networks". In 2008 she received her M.Sc. degree from the same university with the thesis "Cluster-based distributed localization in Wireless Sensor Networks". She obtained her PhD degree in 2013 with the thesis "Data fusion in Wireless Sensor Networks". From 2006 to 2011 she was working as teaching and research assistant at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering (FEEIT). Since 2011 she is working at Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering (FCSE). In 2014 she was promoted to assistant professor. She has been responsible for the following courses: Algorithms and Data Structures, Distributed Computer Systems, Expert Systems, Information Systems, Embedded Systems Design and Mobile Information Systems. Currently she works as an assistant professor at FCSE. Her research interests include wireless sensor networks, smart home, intelligent and distributed systems.
