- 2001 – PhD in chemistry (PhD thesis: ”Development of HPLC methods for identification and quantification of flavonoids in plant materials and plant products”).

Teaching:
- Instrumental analytical methods, Chromatographic methods, Forensic chemistry
- Methodology of scientific research, Trace analysis, Mass spectrometry-Principles and applications
Research interests: Analyses of natural products and food using chromatographic methods coupled to UV-Vis spectroscopy and mass spectrometry for characterization of polyphenols and other secondary plant metabolites; environmental analysis using chromatographic methods; pharmaceutical and forensic analysis.
Research and professional activities:
- author/co-author of 97 scientific articles (56 in peer reviewed journals with impact factor).
- author/co-author of 117 presentations at various scientific conferences and invited plenary lecture at the ICOSECS9 9th International Conference of the Chemical Societies of the South-Eastern European Countries (May 2019, Targovishte, Romania)
- participant in 19 projects, in four of them as coordinator (two FP7 projects and two bilateral Macedonian-Bulgarian)
- supervisor of seven PhD theses and 16 MSc theses, 64 diploma works of students of chemistry
- 2013-2020 – head of the Institute of chemistry, Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, Ss Cyril and Methodius University
- 2006-2014 membеr of the Editorial board and from 2014 – deputy editor of Macedonian Journal of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering published by the Society of chemists and technologists of Macedonia (http://www.mjcce.org.mk/) and Head of the Section for Chemical education within the Society of chemists and technologists of Macedonia
