Dr. Zoran Rakicevic, is a full professor and Deputy Director for international cooperation and development of IZIIS (2018-2021; 2021-2024), formerly head of the unit Dynamic testing laboratory at IZIIS. Has more than 25 year relevant experience in the field of structural control and shake table testing. His research filed of interest includes structural control, dynamic of structures, experimental mechanics, structural health monitoring, data acquisition and signal processing, as well as analysis and design of structures. Having great number of publications in international conferences proceedings, international journals and book chapters, participating as a principal investigator or team member in number of research and applied research projects proved himself as a high qualified expert in his field of research. He has been Project Partner Manager form IZIIS in FP7 SERIES project (2009-2013, Grant No 227887.), Work Package Leader in FP7 UREDITEME Project (2009-2012, Grant No 230099), as well as leader of WP 14 in H2020 SERA Project (2017-2020, Grant No 730900). He is a member of board of directors of European Association for Control of Structures, and President of the Macedonian Association of Earthquake Engineering (2018 - 2022, 2022-2026).
