Biography
Maja Avramovska was born at 01.05.1988 in Bitola. High school finished in Bitola in "Josip Broz Tito" high school with excellent success. She graduated on 12.11.2012 аt Medical Faculty - Skopje with an average grade of 9.34. After receiving a work license in 2013, on 01.10.2013 she enrolled in a private specialization in gynecology and obstetrics. On October 10, 2018, she successfully passed the specialist exam, as the first trainee of the generation 2013/2014 and acquired the title of specialist in gynecology and obstetrics. In the academic year 2016/2017 she enrolled in the third cycle (doctoral) studies at the Medical Faculty in Skopje, School for Doctoral Studies, UKIM.She completed her professional training abroad with a study stay in Klagenfurt, Austria, KABEG Klinikum Klagenfurt Am Wortersee, and international mobility by participating in the Weill Cornell Seminar on Reproductive Medicine in Salzburg, Austria (July 2019), as well as participating in numerous international events. From 15.09.2018 she is employed at the gynecological and obstetric department in the Clinical Hospital Bitola, where she is involved in the professional-applicative work of the department. Since December 2020, she has been elected Coordinator of the Executive Board for Perinatal Network Units, Bitola, for the implementation of the Master Plan for Perinatal Protection, Ministry of Health.
Dr. Maja Avramovska has published 7 author and 20 co-authored scientific papers in the field of gynecology and obstetrics, of which 2 scientific papers in international journals with impact factor, part of the scientific base Pubmed and Web of science
Participant in sucessfuly finished International scientific project ,, Evaluation of tireoglobulin as a inovative biomarker for iodine status in pregnant women “, (ЕUthyroid), the first pan-European initiative, investigating the iodine intake of the European population, worked at the University Clinic of Obstetrics and Gynecology – Skopje.
