Biography
Dr. Zvezda Bogevska works as associate professor at the Institute for Crop Production in the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Food - Skopje, University “Ss. Cyril and Methodius” in Skopje, Republic of North Macedonia. As the best student in 2005, he received the Engineering Ring award under the auspices of the President of R. Macedonia. She acquired M.Sc. in the field of pepper production in protected houses in 2008 while Ph.D. in the field of postharvest practices of onion in 2014. She teaches several courses in the field of vegetable production, postharvest and standardization of vegetable and flowers in first, second and third cycle of studies. Her fields of interest are vegetable production, postharvest practices, urban horticulture, standardization, food chain and food loses.So far she, as author and co-author, has published about 55 scientific manuscripts in national and international proceedings and journals. She attended many national and international symposiums, conferences, workshops and seminars. She is a member of the international organization ISHS (International Society for Horticultural Science) and a member of Association for protection, promotion and education for food Slow Food Vodno, Skopje.
