Aleksandra Martinovska Stojcheska is a Full Professor at the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Food, Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, North Macedonia. Her teaching courses include costing and budgeting in agriculture, valuations, business analysis, farm management and farm accounting, as well as research methods and ethics in research. Her research interests are in the area of agri-food economic and technical performance, agri-food systems assessment, behavior in decision-making and strategic choices, economic aspects of climate change, agricultural and rural development policy. Her national and international scientific collaboration includes communication and dissemination of research results in academic journals, conference proceedings and technical studies, editing of national and regional studies, peer-reviewing of scientific publications, participation in expert discussion panels, organisation of multi-actor events, preparation of strategic documents, and training of various stakeholder groups. She has extensive experience in farm-level and agri-food chain level empirical analysis, including through mapping their structures and governance systems. She is member of the National Council for Higher Education and Research; National Liaison to the European Association of Agricultural Economics; Key Expert in the National Convention for the EU – MK; and Coordinator of the EDP Smart Specialisation Strategy domain on Smart agriculture and food with higher added value.
