Elizabeta Miskoska-Milevska is a Full Professor of Botany at the “Ss. Cyril and Methodius” University in Skopje, Republic of North Macedonia. She began her academic career in 2003 as a Junior Assistant in Botany at the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Food – Skopje. She was promoted to Assistant Professor in 2010, Associate Professor in 2015, and Full Professor in 2020, in the scientific field of Botany. Prof. Miskoska-Milevska is involved in teaching activities across all three study levels. At the B.Sc. level, she teaches Botany and Wild Edible and Poisonous Plants; at the M.Sc. level, she teaches Botany – Selected Chapters, Wild Edible and Poisonous Plants – Selected Chapters, Natural Aromatic and Medicinal Raw Materials and Methods of Scientific Research; and at the Ph.D. level, she teaches Natural Aromatic and Medicinal Raw Materials – Advanced Chapters and Methodology in Scientific Research. As an author or co-author, she has contributed to one etymological dictionary, one peer-reviewed practicum, and four internal teaching materials intended for students of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Food – Skopje. She has published 17 scientific and popular articles, and as part of her scientific research activity, she has authored or co-authored 62 original scientific papers. Prof. Miskoska-Milevska has led one national project and participated in six national, two bilateral, and five international projects. She has presented her work at numerous scientific and professional conferences in the country and abroad. She is the co-author of the book Fruit – Food and Medicine (2021) and participated in the translation of the book Biochemistry and Molecular Biology of Plants (Buchanan B.B., Gruissem W., Jones R.L., 2000, American Society of Plant Physiologists, Rockville, Maryland). She also contributed to the books: Pears: Cultivars, Production and Harvesting (Nova Science Publishers, New York, 2019), Therapeutic potential of medicinal plants: The Science Behind the Natural Remedies (Academic Press, Elsevier: London & Cambridge, 2026) and Interdisciplinary Pathways to Sustainability: Agriculture, Environment, and Rural Development. She is a member of the Society of Biologists of Macedonia and the Association for the Protection, Promotion and Education of Food – Slow Food Vodno.
