Asymmetric flow field flow fractionation (AF4)
Asymmetric flow-field flow fractionation (AF4), coupled with multi-angle static light scattering (MALS) and an integrated dynamic light scattering (DLS) module, enables the separation of macromolecules and larger structures in the nanometre range and the determination of the average radius of gyration (Rg) and average hydrodynamic radius (Rh) and their distributions together with the conformation of macromolecules and particle shape.
Responsible for equipment:
PhD Ema Žagar
Functional description of the equipment can be found on the website https://www.ki.si/odseki/d07-odsek-za-polimerno-kemijo-in-tehnologijo/operma/, where the contact (Ema Žagar) and telephone number are indicated.
