Purpose of equipment
Cluster is being used mainly for simulations in the field of reactor physics (Monte-Carlo simulations), nuclear thermal-hydraulics simulations (finite differences/volumes and pseudospectral methods used for computational fluid dynamics, heat and mass transfer simulations), and structural mechanics (finite element methods).
