Purpose of equipment
The equipment consisted of a network of servers, desktop and laptop computers, peripheral and mobile devices, and related software. It was meant for research and development of methods for intelligent internet services that require high computational and storage capacities. It was used in accessing information on global network, knowledge discovery in large distributed databases, and speech communication support.
