Electrochemical workstation for high current measurements in water-splitting for green hydrogen generation
Purpose of equipment
The equipment includes a 4-channel potentiostat and a rotating disk electrode (RDE) assembly. They are used for electrochemical characterization of thin film and powder catalysts. The equipment will be used to study current-voltage behaviour of water electrolyzers, along with high frequency impedance measurements. These tests are crucial to quantify the cell efficiency and durability of such electrolyzers. The multi-channel potentiostat maximizes the available lab space, enable multiple use and reduce the carbon footprint, presenting economic and environmental benefits.
