Chromatographic system ÄKTAexplorer 10 S
Purpose of equipment
Chromatographic system ÄKTAexplorer 10 S is intended for analytical and preparative separation of proteins and polysaccharides from complex biological samples. It is equipped with UV-VIS and conductometric detectors, and a pH sensor. A mixing system enables automatic buffer (i.e., mobile phase) preparation to speed up design and optimization of separation methods. Samples can be loaded either manually or automatically. The chromatographic system can be used for size-exclusion, ion-exchange, affinity, and hydrophobic chromatography.
