Purpose of equipment
The equipment is primarily used for research (national research programs, European projects, development of the national standard for length) but it is also used in the education process as well as for calibration and measurements. The equipment can be applied for measuring complex industrial products up to the volume of 1200 mm x 850 mm x 600 mm, as well as for calibrating materialised measures of length, such as standard rings and plugs and thread gauges.
