Description
Jelovica is the heir of the old woodworking tradition with the very beginnings of modern building joinery production going back as far as the year 1905. The traditional knowledge and affection of processing wood was during these last decades of continuous growth completed with the development and introduction of the most modern technologies, concern for clean human environment, increasing consideration of buyers'wishes, and brisk development of new products. Today, the production of Jelovica represents over 20% of the entire building joinery production in Slovenia. In our production plants we annually produce 120.000 windows and balcony doors, 48.000 shutters and roller blinds, 180.000 interior doors, and 6.000 entrance and garage doors. All our products are equipped with the most modern fittings, with the possibility of dry or wet setting, and coatings harmless to health and to the environment. We provide for the quality of products by constant supervision of the production process; and in our own laboratory we test the quality of materials, semi-products and products. The quality is also subject to different attestations of domestic and foreign institutions for the research of materials and constructions. In Jelovica we are capable to adjust to most different tastes, to quality demanding markets, and to short terms of production. That is also proved by our exports. We yearly export a half of our annual production to the most demanding markets. Amnog other things we furnished the Olympic Village in Munich, we built apartments in Algeria, our products are built in prestige Japanese houses, and we export even 80% of prefabricated houses to Germany, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, but also to eastern European countries, and countries of the third world. As the challenges and demands of the world market are in constant growth, in Jelovica we have also invested into our intellectual capacity. Long lasting volitions of progress and development have been realised by establishing a development reserch unit - RR JELOVICA. With the intellectual potential of this unit we overgrow our own framework limits, as we will develop and verify the building joinery products and elements of prefabricated houses for the region of Slovenia and neighbouring, mainly Balkan countries. The registered trademark of Jelovica is a permanent seal of its efficiency, as to our buyers' satisfaction it provides an overall quotation of quality products and services verified on the most demanding markets, based on knowledge, development and businesslike manners.
