Description
Alpineon Ltd is a young and dynamic start-up company specializing in research and development in telecommunication and information technologies. The company was founded in 2003 and it currently employs 8 top-quality experts with a wide range of expertise. Over 40% of the yearly turnover are planned to be reinvested into development of new products. The R&D activities of Alpineon range from hardware and software development to complete turn-key solutions. Alpineon specializes in voice-over-IP processing and speech technologies - speech recognition and speech synthesis and integration thereof into CTI applications. Recently, Alpineon focuses in addressing the issues of value-added services for navigation information systems and works on information navigation equipment industrial prototypes. Alpineon also has a research group that is registered with the Slovenian Ministry of Science and Technology -Slovenian Research Agency. Alpineon is cooperating with major industrial players, academic institutions and other research organizations. It is a member of the Slovenian ICT Technology Network and of the Slovenian Center of Excellence in ICT Technologies - Speech Technologies Group.
