Description
The Geological Survey of Slovenia performs fundamental and applied research in all fields of geology and related sciences. It also carries out expert, planning and supervising tasks for customers from Slovenia as well as from other countries. In its 50-years history, the Geological Survey of Slovenia has gone through different forms of organisation. All this time, its researchers have systematically gathered geological information about the Slovenian geology. These data are presented on numerous geological maps, in research projects, reports and studies as well as in databases.
