Description
Faculty of Health Sciences is the part of the University of Ljubljana which educates students for professions related to the care for human being and its health. These are: Health care, Physical therapy, Radiology, Occupational therapy, Sanitary engineering, Orthopaedic technology, Midwifery, Orthotic, prosthetic and Laboratory dental prosthetics. Research work related to the programs of the Faculty is done at the Research Institute of the Faculty of Health Sciences. It brings together researchers from different fields to stimulate interdisciplinary research. Besides the pure "study" fields, the research is done also in the domain of electro-stimulations, biomechanics, ergonomics, ecological and sanitary law, sociological and psychological studies related to the rehabilitation and health care, biomedical simulations, development of testing methods etc.
