Abstract
Research project deals with the effects of integration on the economy and ability of Slovenia to control its own economic system and policy. The effects of integration on the economy are not always optimal; they depend on how changes are introduced. The goal of the project is to analyse the effects and to find the best solutions in monetary and banking domain, fiscal and income arrangements, and corresponding policies. Beside direct application in the decision making the results add to a new emerging field: economics of integration.
