Abstract
Our basic aim is to create comprehensive view of the community mental health, to construct basic explanatory models and to create new terminology. Identified areas of research are: explaining and working with mental distress and crises in the framework of psychosocial framework; families and working with mental distress; longterm psychosocial distress; 0structures and activities in community mental health; social, political and organisational features of community mental health; management and maintenance of psychosocial services; gender and culture in the community mental health; mental health and law.
