Abstract
The research project covers a case study of democratic transition in Slovenia, as well as a comparative analysis of democratic transitions of other post-socialist countries. The synthesis of theoretical and empirical research results will presumably (a) contribute to the development of the theory on democratic transitions and (b) uncover the problems and obstacles in the process of democratic consolidation in the post-socialist part of the world, focusing on Slovenia of the 90s.
