Abstract
The project comprises two programme parts: A - The history of local administration and self-management in Slovene territory with the following tasks: The neighbourhood as autonomous community from the end of the Middle Ages to the second half of the 18th century in Slovene territory. Local administration and self-management in Styria 1848-1941. The beginnings of autonomous communities in the territory of the Trieste Gubernium before 1849. Local administration and self-management in Carniola 1848-1941. The functions and the territorial development of local administration and local sociopolitical comunities 1945-1990. B - Legal systems and the organisation of judicature in Slovene territory from the middle of the 18th century until 1990 and kinds of archival material referring to judicature with the following tasks: Land register until 1880. Records of patrimonial law courts in the second half of the 18th century in Carniola. Administration and administration of law for villeins until 1848 researched on the example of the Negova manorial estate. Penal judicature in the Austrian part of Habsburg monarchy since 1848, in the Kingdom of Slovenes, Croats and Serbs, and in Yugoslavia up to 1941. The development of regular judicature after World War II and the archival material of local law courts.
