Abstract
This project ivolves the continuous, complex and systematic expansion, supplemention, protection, and archival and general processing of irreplaceble, unique collection of traditional Slovenian folk music, song and dance; this includes the re-cording and computer processing of this material. The aim of this project is, on the basis of the most original segments of the spiritual folklore of Slovenia made available to us through recorded audio material, scientific research, comparative analyses and the publication of material on cassettes and CDs, and with help of characteristic audio samples accompanied by scientific studies, to provide ourselves and others with knowledge about ourselves and, with the help of the insights derived from this, to gain the affirmation of Slovenia on a European and international level.
