Abstract
The result of the project will be two monographs, one on Slovene immigrants and their descendants in Leadville (Colorado) and San Francisco ( California) as well as a monograph on the history of Slovene Settlement in Rock Springs (Wyoming). In the book entittled “Jurij Trunk med Koroško in Združenimi državami ter zgodovina slovenskih naselbin v Leadville, Kolorado ter San Francisco, Kalifornija” / = Jurij Trunk between Carinthia and the United States and the History of Slovene Settlements in Leadville (Colorado) and San Francisco (California). There are also biographies of important Slovene immigrants in the United States. Dr. Nada Šabec researched bilingualism in Cleveland, OH and published the findings of her research in numerous important linguistical rewievs.
