Abstract
The organisations involved in the partnership are all active as “sending” and “hosting” organisations within the Lifelong Learning Programme. Most of the partners have known each other for quite a while and a few of them joined the network lately.Goal of the partnership is to improve the quality of service provided within the framework of the Lifelong Learning Programme. Within the partnership was developed common criteria for assessing quality, discussed and put down in writing – based on the experience gained in the mobility projects so far.All partners have developed specific methods and practises for the conception and organisation of learning stays abroad, which can set an example for other partners. By exchanging such best-practise methods the partners are to be enabled to evaluate and compare their own practical experience and if necessary adjust or significantly alter their approach. The goal is also to establish a common standard for carrying out such educational projects abroad on the highest level of quality within this cooperation network.Besides that an important part of this partnership is to give all partners the possibility to deal with the political background in each of the partner countries as well as the general and specific goals of the EU educational programmes. Enabling thereby a reflection on the relationship of one owns work to the goals set out by the European educational policy (Copenhagen process) and considering the European integration process in the field of vocational training (e. g. ECVET).A further point of focus will be the inclusion of the local networks of each partner and the reinforcement of the use of digital media by including elements of E-learning in the organisation of mobility programmes.
