With constant changes on the labour market, young people with disabilities also have to face new, increased demands and this is why the opportunity to gain new knowledge, work competencies and, as a result, higher qualifications for a certain job is vital.Supported employment is a personalized approach to working with people with significant disabilities, including people with learning disabilities and autism, to access and retain open employment, with support.Supported employment should achieve the following outcomes:• real jobs where people have the opportunity to earn equitable wages • development of new skills• social an economic inclusion• enhanced self-esteem• increased quality of life where people are treated fairly and with respectExperiences of special educators indicate that having a broad spectrum of learning activities especially in the field of creativity helps people with special educational needs to develop personal and social skills supporting them in the process of finding own career aspirations. The main objective of Job4me project is to offer STAFF (special teachers, teachers of practical work) advanced training (CPD - continuous professional development courses) on how to prepare clients (young people with learning disabilities) for more independent life and especially for work.
