Abstract
The production of keratinolytic enzymes will be studied by in vitro cultivation of non-pathogenic fungi in aerobic submerged fermentation. The cultivation conditions will be optimized to obtain active enzymes which will be purified and characterized. The preparative purification will be performed by means of a newly developed method for protein separation on porous compact disks. The purified enzymes will be used in order to obtain specific keratinase antibodies.
