Abstract
Data on patients and their relaives (pedigrees) have tried to obain in the slovenian population concerning following disorders: pachyonychia congenita /PC-1), epidermolysis bullosa hereditaria simplex /EBHS), various types of ichthyoses, psoriasis, dyskeratosis follicularis (mb Darier). In PC-1 and EBHS mutation of DNA were investigated. The molecular biology was carried in the laboratory for molecular biology of the Department of dermatology in Cardiff and the center for molecular biology of the Institute of Biochemistry of the Medical faculty in Ljubljana. Included were also two conditions in which heredity plays a certain role and which are important for dermatology: pigmentary lesions of the skin and carcinomas of the oral cavity.
