Abstract
The goal of research is quantitative description of processes of migration of chemical and radioactive elements in the supergene part of the geochemical cycle in the geological setting of Slovenian karst. This aim shall be attained by studying the elemental distributions in rocks and their weathering products, waters, soils, stream, overbank and cave sediments, and anthropogene materials, such as household and attic dust, and by modelling the relevant processes. Modern research methods will be applied and optimised.
