Abstract
The research activities in the proposed project will be directed at the study of structural features of new zeolite-like porous materials and their metal-modified (e.g. Co, Zn, Mn) analogues. The research will mainly encompass framework structures determination and localisation of the cataliticaly active sites using powder and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Laboratory and synchrotron X-ray sources will be used, depending on the quality and chemical composition of the samples and the required experimental conditions (in-situ measurements). Special attention will be focused on the adaption of the anomalous dispersion and some other X-ray methods for the study of these materials.
