Abstract
The aim of this study proposal is to encourage optimal and economical management of thermal waters. Underground geothermal aquifers must be protected from overexploitation. Possibilities of enhancement of water abstraction still exist but they must be planned very carefully. Potential users of the sources which are not under exploitation yet are planned to be advised, helped and encouraged to begin with economy-based use. Geothermal energy is environmental friendly and renewable energy, and its use will influence positively on our environment and economy, and employement of local population. In particular, we wish to promote broader use of geothermal energy in agriculture, and to open a new field of exploitation - production of electric power.
