Abstract
Properties of surface deposits on tools, their life and the tool life respectively, in the high-temperature extrusion process for aluminium materials will be studied in the projekt. Surface deposits with longer life and multi-layer combinations will be looked for, their adhesion with base tool materials and optimal technological parameters will be investigated. The tests will be made in a simulator, being adjusted for this purpose, and results verified on industrial tools and in plant operations.
