Abstract
The project "Development of a validation framework for mentoring: evaluating the achievements of disabled and disadvantaged people" ("Validation of Mentoring") aimed to improved skills and competences of people with disabilities and disadvantaged by establishment a mentoring system, which provides work-based training at professional level.The disabled mentees was expected to gain real experience in the working environment, with their training based on the needs and requirements of employers, as well as on the needs and abilities of the mentees.The main task of the "Validation of Mentoring" project was development of new procedures, which provides systematic validation of knowledge and competence that the mentees have been acquired within the mentoring scheme. Validation was promoted as a major step towards the recognition of this form of training.
