Abstract
Chemical and metallographic analyses of prehistoric metal objects and raw material are used together with archaeological methods to obtain a better knowledge of cultural and historical circumstances in the Slovenian teritory during the transitional period of HaA/HaB. Our aim is to define closely the origin, direction and spreed of the technological inventions (conceiving the new alloys and exploitation of new minerals) which influenced the later great flourishment of this teritory in the Iron Age.
