Abstract
With the project we participate in the second sweep of the Cross-Cultural study on Children’s Rights, which explores subjective perspective on importance and existence of children’s rights, using internationally developed and comparable survey methodology. This approach aims at producing data supplementary to the objective indicators of children’s rights in the country. The project additionally includes a) an analysis of protection of children by criminal law against sexual abuse in Slovenia and comparison to international trends, and b) investigation of forms of psychological maltreatment of children, based on clinical material and a survey among relevant groups of experts and professionals.
