Abstract
Project Joint Seminars on EU Law - Harmonization with the EC Law is dedicated to students of different and wider public in three countries: Austria, Slovenia and Croatia. It joins three universities - Graz, Maribor and Zagreb and topics will be taught in these three cities. Students will be (1) taught about EC and EU law and the role and importance of the harmonization process for the internal market, economic concepts of the EC law, the role of the economic freedoms, their limitation with human rights etc. Students and other participants will be (2) invited to prepare papers and (3) a common discussion will be organized, framed and managed by professors. Participants will (4) have to speak in foreign language (English). Organising multinational groups will give possibility for (5) the personal networking. The aims and foreseen impacts of the joint seminar are also: for participants to obtain new knowledge on different aspects of harmonisation process, new skills, including research skills, modes of oral presentations, the role of argumentation (good pedagogical practice), intercultural development (mobility within three countries) and developing intercultural dialog also in the sense of active citizenship, a personal development and maturity.
