Abstract
The aim of the project is to develop an extended Smith predictor which should improve disturbance rejection properties of the existing Modified Smith Predictor. An algorithm for automatic tuning of the controller parameters will also be added. The resulting prototype of the control algorithm will be implemented on an PC-based real-time acquisition system.
