Abstract
The aim of this project is to study the role of intracellular trafficking in the regulation of of the GPCRs. In the first part, an experimental approach will be employed which combines the use of functional markers, alongside a morphological analysis to delineate the compartment boundaries and subsequently interpret transport process within the endocytotic pathway. The second part addresses the function of receptor internalization in eliciting a biologically relevant response upon receptor activation.
