Abstract
By analysing the theories of social contract, this research work will show that this tradition, that have laid down the foundations of modern notion of political subject, political relations and institutions that are still with us, offers us a more adequate concept of moral and political subject that either utilitarianism or a game theory could do. Despite all claims about the end of modernity and disapperance of the subject is this concept of the subject still a credible model for autonomous moral and political acting.
The research will also offer a vocabulary of the reseach theme and material for analysis of relevant political problems, further theoretical investigations and for translations of basic works from this field.
