Abstract
Forming a joint world economy dictates an integrated European market. The difference in the development of individual national economies demand adaptation to market economies. The prestructuring processes of the Slovene economy are a necessity for adaptating to the conditions on the European market, which come from the economic goals for a sustainable development balanced economy and assurance of general development in seperate regions.
The basic goal of the project is to develop a model for forming strategies for further development in Slovenia, which depends on the success of the prestructuring of primary and secondary economic activites.
Encouraging regional development oriented towards space transformation and joining the European rise in development, sanation of degraded regions and the ensuring space quality are key points for regional development.
