Abstract
Classical hydrodynamic, thermal and diffusion methods for separation of multicomponent, non-ideal liquid systems are getting upgraded by various new methods and techniques, based on new scientific findings and new technically available materials. The proposed applied project will - using selected mixtures from the participating firms of the Slovenian process industries - study alternative methods like two-aqueous-phase extraction, functional adsorption, flash drying, reactive extraction and distillation, solvation, selected membrane processes etc.
