Abstract
Arteriovenous fistula (AVF) remains the method of choice for hemodialysis access. The most frequent cause for unsuccessful creation or early failure of AVF is low filling volume of artery depending on quality of artery which ability for remodeling after surgery is diminshed. Spasm of artery has also an important role. In the prospective study we plan to rendomize patients with sonographically established signs for changed artery wall and consequently diminished functional alibity in four groups: groupe A where during surgery intravenous vasodilators will be used; group B with local application of vasodilators, together with local infiltration anasthesia; group C with infusion of plasma expander during surgery; group D with non additional intervention. Hypothesis of this study is that use of vasodilators could prevent spasm of artery and minimal ability of little value artery as filling artery for AVF remains preserved. Sometime vasodilator could have unafavorable side effect. Because plasma expander could have positive effect on filling volume of artery, we plan to confirm that such a method could be also effective at this group of patients.
