Abstract
Dioxins are byproducts in numerous termal industrial proces and mostly in incinerations. Dioxins are extremly toxinc and can effect the function of different organic systems. Most suitable method for destroying dioxins is biodegradation. In the proposed project we would like to isolate specific microorganisms that would degrade most toxic isomeres. These cultures would then be used for decreasing the dioxin concentration in exposed areas and in important sources.
