Abstract
The project focuses on short supply chains and logistical solutions to support local food supply. It includes:
Analysis of existing systems and solutions in short supply chains across Europe (classification of existing supply chains, stakeholders, and business models; detailed analysis of logistical needs and support for the functioning of supply chains; identification and detailed analysis of best practices).
Establishment of support centers and innovation transfer hubs for local food logistics (these centers will operate as living labs). Local centers will be established and connected at a transnational level to exchange knowledge, experiences, and needs.
Creation of support mechanisms for knowledge transfer (platform for best practices, experiences, and solutions) and encouragement of business collaboration among stakeholders (platform for identifying collaboration potentials between suppliers, logistics operators, and buyers, matchmaking meetings, support for implementation of solutions).
Support in developing local, regional, and transnational policies (formulating strategies and action plans, supporting the development of macro-regional strategies and upgrading smart specialization strategies) and ensuring the sustainable operation of the project's concepts and solutions.
