Abstract
The main goal of OJP4Danube is the integration of cross-border information services and organizational mechanisms for public transport providers and travel information service providers at various levels of governance. We aim to achieve this by developing an information network for multimodal cross-border travel for passengers, based on the innovative approach of Open Journey Planning (OJP). The multimodal cross-border information network for passengers will connect local and regional public transport networks with major transport corridors (railways) and cycling routes (e.g., EuroVelo), along with the information needed for cyclists for multimodal travel.
